Fox Run’s Peruvian Sashay

Sashay is a beautiful, dark mahogany brown girl, with a pretty white marking on her face. Although she is very curious, she has a quiet, gentle presence. She has exceptional fleece – her lock structure and luster, along with her coloring and conformation, make her a top-notch animal. Sashay was bred to Candlewood Rocko last year resulting in a beautiful baby girl - Sweet Pea. Rocko is a multi champion male with numberous color championships, 1st places and fleece awards. He is an Accoyo Rockstar son and a Torbio grandson – Rockstar was the 2006 Light Herdsire of the Year award recipient and Torbio is a multiple Color Champion and 1st Place winner. Sashay is the daughter of 5x Herdsire of the year DDF Peruvian Macgyver.

Sashay has been bred to New Horizon's Cantano's Peruvian Claytonite.  Claytonite is a rich mahogany, maroon brown color, which is a true compliment to Sashay's coloring.  A May cria is expected.  With Cantano of Peru and Macgyver bloodlines, it will be awesome!

AGG Peruvian Sweetest Flower aka "Sweet Pea"

Sweet Pea is the product of two exceptional parents, one dark brown and one pure white, but looks like her grandsire, Macgyver, who is medium brown.  She has what is known as wrinkled skin, which produces more fiber on an animal. Her medium brown fiber is very thick and fine, locking to her skin. Sweet Pea, like her momma Sashay, has a very soft presence about her, but likes nothing better than a good roll in the dirt and to rip around her pasture! Both of Sweet Pea's grandsires, Macgyver and Rockstar, hold the coveted title of Herdsire of the Year. Macgyver has taken the dark suri title for 6 years in a row and Rockstar was light suri Herdsire of the Year in 2006.

Sweet Pea's fiber is so thick that we have no choice but to shear her this spring. That fiber is going to be saved and sent in to fleece shows, so she can continue her show career without leaving the farm. However, Sweet Pea's time in the ring isn't over yet and we will be taking her back to shows in the fall.

Macgyver's Mariah

Mariah is a full Peruvian, 7x Herdsire of the year DDF Peruvian Macgyver daughter who is positively wonderful! Mariah has extremely dense fleece glistening with luster, and her lock structure and confirmation are perfect. At birth, she had an IgG of 2800! She is very healthy and has a proud, but soft, presence about her. Mariah’s mother, Peruvian Mystique, took Color Champion at just 6 months old at the Kentucky Classic. Then one week later, took Reserve Champion at the Spring Fling in Ohio. Not to top her momma, Mariah took a 3rd place at the Futurity in Kentucky at 6 months old (under Mike Safley’s eye). She then went on to a 1st place at just 7 months old at MaPACA – a level 5 show, beating out 10 other medium fawn females, then moments later, took Color Champion for both Juvenile and Yearling groups. Judge Amanda VandenBosch could not say enough positive things about her.

Mariah has been bred to our male Artie.  Both Mariah and Artie have tremendously dense fiber with great locking structure.  Their lineage has a variety of colors - beige, fawn, medium brown, and dark silver gray - so we are very excited to see what this pair is going to produce!  A June 2009 cria is expected.

Allegheny Peruvian Vanessa

Vanessa is a beautiful medium brown girl with incredibly soft fleece. She is a good mom with plenty of milk and is very protective and aware of her cria. Vanessa has a very calm presence about her.

Vanessa's third cria has hit the ground.  Being the intelligent animal she is, Vanessa waited until I got home to deliver and put baby Jack right into my arms! Vanessa has throw her third top of the line cria and we couldn't be more pleased! So much so that we put her and Artie back together for a September 2010 baby!

Vanessa has thrown her fineness of fleece to all of her cria. Daisy's micron count, according to Yocum McCall, is a 16.2! Butch came back at a 21.1, and Jack should not be far off from these two. If you've got the density and but need the fineness factor - Vanessa is your girl!!

AGG Peruvian Daisy

Daisy is the product of two exceptional parents. Her dam, Allegheny Peruvian Vanessa, had an uncomplicated pregnancy and birth. Daisy weighed in at 17.4 pounds, was standing within an hour and nursing within 2 hours. At one day old, she had an IGG of 1661. Daisy maintained both parents medium brown color, and has taken after her sire, 7x Herdsire of the Year DDF Peruvian Macgyver, with definitive lock structure and density; she has her dam's fineness of fleece. When a fiber sample of Daisy's second shearing was sent to Yocum McCall, her micron count came back at a 16.2! For a suri, this shows a phenominal fineness.

Daisy has completed her show career and has been bred to a gorgeous appaloosa male named "Peruvian Scotch on the Rocks". Scotch is a 4Peruvian Condor son, and Condor was well known for throwing all kinds of wonderful color and patterns. With Daisy's red/brown coloring and Scotch's beige/fawn patterns, this cria will be awesome!! Daisy is due with a May 2010 cria.

Sweet Suri Seneca

Sweet Suri Seneca is just as sweet as her name.  She is a tall, strechy girl who is white/beige with fawn colored markings.  She has a sweet face and disposition.  Seneca has excellent bloodlines - on her dam's side you will see PPeruvian Inca and Bruxo.  On her sire's side, you have PPeruvian Ramilo and Torbio.  Seneca's first cria, Crown Royal's Mariella, is a beautiful, white, girl.  Seneca was bred to 6x Herdsire of the Year, DDF Peruvian Macgyver and delivered a fabulous black cria on May 17, 2009.  Her cria is black with white socks on her front legs.  Seneca out-did herself, because this little girl is a real show stopper!
